How to Increase your Adsense Revenue

Google Adsense,  how it works: Webmasters register and get a special code from Google which then displays targeted ads on their website. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of these ads, the webmaster earns a commission. Unlike other online businesses, there is no selling involved. All you need to do is get people to click on the ads.

Although adsense is an excellent way to generate an income, many websites are not effectively maximizing their Adsense potential. As a result, they are leaving a lot of cash on the table.

Making money with adsense really is not complicated at all but it does require a bit of understanding to maximize the click through rate and income generated from the ads. Make sure to use adsense as an important income stream for any website you choose to create.

The question is how can you increase the  Adsense revenue without increasing the number of web visitors?

The key to increase Google Adsense revenue is to have your ads match the rest of the site, making them look like part of your content. Your focus is to avoid having the Adsense blocks look like an advertisements.

The following are proven ways to increase your revenue:

Find the right place:- Most website visitors read content that is in the middle of a webpage. So, Do not throw all your adsense ads to the sides of your pages or only at the top and bottom of the pages. Put some ads directly in the content and have the content wrap around your ads. This will ensure that they get noticed because in most cases people will enter your site, read some of the content maybe in some article and then decide to move on. If the adsense is the next thing they see and it is relevant they are very likely to click on it so make sure your ads are close to the main content on your sites.

Use no border:- Many people experience a sharp increase in Adsense revenue when they changing their border. What they change is very simple…they get rid of the border on their Adsense blocks. This is another way to make the advertisements look like useful web content.

Match the color and the font- Whenever you write content, it should be the same font size, color and style as your Google Adsense block. This will help make it appear that the advertisements are a natural part of your website.

Don't have too many distractions- On a webpage, it is important to give web visitor a limited number of options. By having too many links and graphics, the web visitor might go to a section that doesn't help increase your profits. While it is important to inform and entertain your web visitor, it is also vital that you monetize your site. So if the main focus of your site is to earn an income through Google Adsense, then get rid of all non-essential links and graphics.

Ad relevancy:-  it’s  critical in order to maximize your click through rates. If you are operating in a niche that has little to no adwords advertisers then it is going to be difficult to pull relevant ads that will get clicked on. Make sure you pick a niche where there are enough adwords advertisers, the heavier the competition the better because this will also mean that the average cost per click is higher and so the amount you receive per click will also be greater.

Another important tip to make sure that you are getting relevant ads is by making sure that the page that has adsense is focused on a specific topic. Do not place adsense on pages that talk about many different unrelated topics.By taking the time to implement these simple steps, you'll see a dramatic increase in the click-thru ratio of your ads. If added to all of the content of your site, your Adsense income will skyrocket
